Achievers of
Ryan International Sports Club (1998-2002)
Fielded over
nine promising football players and athletes of great potential who were
snatched away by
TFA and other well-known sporting clubs and bodies.
Sushant Bangera of Ryan Sportsclub, created a National Record in the
Triple Jump
with a leap of 15.16 mtrs for U/18 boys
in the 4th Ryan State Level Athletic Meet which
is considered the best in the country.
Sushant Bangera of Ryan, representing Maharashtra stood first in India
in the 2nd
Junior Federation Athletic Meet
2002 with 15.40 mtr.in the Triple Jump.
Raman Mishra of Ryan created a National Record in the Shot Put for U/10
Boys in the
Sub-Junior Maharashtra State Athletic
Meet 2002 held at Satara, Maharshtra
Two
RYAN football teams are currently playing in the MDFA League Match, one
in the
First Division and the other in the
Second Division.
Opened 3 new Ryan International Club centers - in Vashi, New Panvel and
Nerul.
Organised successful Summer Camps from 1998 onwards simultaneously at
seven
centers. 1700 children attended the 6th
Ryan Summer Camp 2003 held at Kandivli,
Borivli, Mira Road, Nallasopara, Virar,
Vashi, and Panvel.
Organized 5 State Level Athletic Meets attracting very large number of
participants. At
the 4th Milo-Ryan Maharashtra State
Level Meet and Junior State Athletic Meet
2001-02 there were 29100 entrants
from 245 schools, colleges & clubs.
Organized 2 Maharashtra Junior State Athletic Meet in 2001and 2002 which
were
selection trials to pick the Maharashtra
team for the National Meet in 2001 and 2002
Organized 2nd National Junior Federation Athletic Championship in
October 2002. This Meet acted as
a selection trial for the choice of the
Indian Team which participated in the Junior Asian Track & Field
in Bangkok in October 2002.
Eleven Road Races were organised in the Four-year period. A record 22459
athletes joined the
Milo-Ryan State Level League Minithon
2002 held at Vashi, Juhu Beach, Borivli and Surat.
Conducted a Seminar on 'Sports in the New Millennium', the third of its
kind to be held in Mumbai in
half-a-century, when 1200 members
attended.
